- Abstract
The article focuses on a study conducted by the authors in which they discovered galloylated flavonoids in petals of rosa gallica. It states that two galloylated flavonoids were found and isolated with the help of chromatography. It mentions that the compounds supported the use of these petals in a medicine for the treatment of diabetes. It highlights that sugar moiety's proton was also observed in the plant.
