- Abstract
The Journal of Celtic Philology contains various articles on topics of Celtic philology. Some of the topics include: Prof. John Rhŷs on the Isle of Man, a satire about praise poets, the Irish myth of Balar's killing by Lug, the Norse myth of Baldr's killing by Loki, and the Indian myth of the wounded sun. Other topics include a poem about remorse, the vowel system of particles and preverbs in Old Irish, a new Celtic-Germanic isogloss, and an investigation into an ancient Celtic concept. The journal also includes book reviews and advertisements on various topics in the field of Celtic philology.
