- Abstract
The article discusses the sex offender residency restrictions that are reportedly contained in California's Sexual Predator Punishment and Control Act: Jessica’s Law, focusing on various state and local municipality restrictions in America, as well as the U.S. Jacob Wetterling Crimes Against Children and Sexually Violent Offender Registration Act. According to the article, sex offenders are prohibited from living within 2,000 feet of certain schools and parks under Jessica's Law.
