The article explores how patient education for cancer screening and prevention reduces barriers and increases adherence rates. Topics include educating patients to maintain preventive measures such as healthy lifestyle behaviors and adhering to recommended cancer screenings; and routine cancer prevention screenings aside, and the COVID-19 coronavirus presented another additional barrier.
