Title
MPD Patients Share Family Traits That Could Influence Therapy.
Abstract
The article reports on a research, which has identified a cluster of psychosocial factors characteristic of the families of patients with myofascial pain dysfunction (MPD). According to one of the researchers, Robert Malow, since the factors are similar to well known traits found in the families of patients with disorders such as asthma, dental practitioners, while planning therapy for MPD patients, should be aware of the influences that the factors can exert.
