- Abstract
The article offers suggestions for dental patients, on discouraging the misuse and ingestion of household drugs by young children. It mentions child-resistant packaging as a key factor in reducing the numbers of children being accidentally poisoned by drugs such as aspirin. It recommends patients never to take medicines in front of children and to store them in places out of the reach of children. It suggests to discard old prescriptions after the illness for which they were prescribed is over.
