This article focuses on the court ruling given in Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Co. of Maryland v. Communications Workers of America case. Under a clause restricting arbitration to "dismissal" of employees with three years' service, dispute over temporary suspension for alleged improper conduct was not arbitrable.
