A biography for C. T. Vivian, a Baptist minister and civil rights activist is presented. The article discusses his role in the civil rights movement for racial equality for African Americans. It discusses his association with the African Methodist Episcopal Church and American Baptist Theological Seminary. It is noted that he studied at the Western Illinois University. His views on racism, segregation in educational institutions, and campaign at the American Baptist Seminary are discussed.
