The article focuses on the politics and government in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Topics mentioned include the management of greed and corruption in the country by late President Laurent Kabila, the effort by his son Joseph to end the Second Congo War in 2002, and the foreign relations of DRC in several countries such as the U.S., Great Britain, and Uganda. Also mentioned was the exploitation of mines in Rwanda to give financial support to rebels.
