- Abstract
The article discusses a study on estimation of the size of parasite eggs sufficient for stimulating discrimination behavior in the bird yellow-browed warbler. It mentions that differently sized model eggs of several birds including Cockatiel and rosy-faced lovebirds were placed to the nest of the species during their breeding period. It was found that eggs were abandoned by the species which showed their discrimination behavior for the eggs.
