- Abstract
The article presents a panel discussion entitled "Intersections of Gender, Economic, Racial, and Indigenous (In) Justice" held during the "Converge! Reimagining the Movement to End Gender Violence," symposium hosted by the University of Miami in February 2014. Topics discussed include impact of colonization for tribal people, short-term physical safety of the person subjected to abuse under the domestic violence legal system, and need for lowering domestic violence as the goals of legal system.
