- Abstract
The article discusses two studies that demonstrate the potential of assays that provide insights into the complexity of the immune system of vertebrates. The first study is said to contrast the activity of differential immunological components in wild mice against laboratory house mice using the assays. The second study shows how real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) approach may profile different immune components in a wild vole population.
