- Title
Model complexity and information in the data: Could it be a house built on sand?
- Authors
Lelel, Subhash R.
- Abstract
In this article, the author reflects on the study by D. M. Heisey and colleagues on the analysis of spatially referenced, age specific prevalence data on how wildlife infection changes. He mentions that the authors addressed the limited information by imposing constraints in assuming a parametric model for the log-hazard function. He also mentions that the Bayesian inference procedure used by Heisey and colleagues has a possibility to give misleading answers.
