- Abstract
The article highlights research results related cytology. Researchers showed that loss of one Dicer 1 allele develops the formation of cancer cells in mice which means that Dicer 1 is a haploin-sufficient tumour suppressor. Another research found that the amount of phosphorylated mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) was higher in haematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) from aged mice. It is also found that reconstructing of the extracellular matrix (ECM) is an important factor for tumour progression.
