- Abstract
The article offers information on hepatic arteriovenous malformations in hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. The condition is defined as an autosomal dominant disorder which emerges in the development of arteriovenous malformations. It exists in various organs such as the nose, skin, lungs, brain, gastrointestinal tract and liver. For patients with symphtomatic hepatic malformations, the suggested therapy include hepatic artery embolization, hepatic artery ligation and liver transplantation.
