- Abstract
Splinter processing is a process, which can be done in various ways. One type of splinter processing is "milling", which is done with two interdependent movements, specifically the rotation movement of the tool and shifting movement of the work piece. The article examines the issue of measuring vibration on the head of the spindle of the milling machine, type Zayer 3000 BF #. Its goal was to perform and evaluate experiments, the subject of which was the examination of the effect of the splinter thickness and speeds of the spindle head on the occurrence of mechanical vibration. The results of the experimental part are measured values of vibration acceleration amplitude. Based on the analysis of created graphic dependencies a proposal of new knowledge and recommendations is postulated.
