- Authors
Towe, Charles
- Abstract
The article focuses on a study related to market capitalization effects of regulations of cluster subdivision development and open spaces. It addresses a unique type of regulation of subdivision design in the rural-urban fringe that requires clustering of residential parcels on smaller lots while preserving open spaces. The study was conducted in Howard County, Maryland. It concludes that the rural-urban fringe requires subdivision attributes, which have price impacts on home sales.
