- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of surveys on the usage of wetlands in the Serpentine River Reserve, Western Australia by migratory shorebirds. Topics include reasons for short-term fluctuations in shorebird numbers like tides, activities that have a detrimental effect on roosting and behaviour of shorebirds, and the various species of shorebirds that were surveyed like the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, Red-capped Plover and Red-necked Avocet.
