- Abstract
The article discusses a study which determined rates of factors associated with and temporal trends in antipsychotic polypharmacy (APP) in Taiwanese patients with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorders. The study compared the response of patients to APP with antipsychotic monotherapy (AMT) and identified the most commonly used first-generation antipsychotics and second-generation antipsychotics. It measured the average chlorpromazine equivalents and rate of rehospitalization.
