- Abstract
The article discusses a study to investigate the organisational factors that facilitate or hinder effective transition of young people from National Child Adolecent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to adult mental health services (AMHS) from the perspective of health professionals and representatives of related voluntary organisations. Topics discussed include the importance of collaborative CAMHS-AMHS revision of transition protocols to stress flexibility in age ranges and diagnostic criteria.
