- Authors
Cadenas‐Sanchez, Cristina; Léger, Luc
- Abstract
This article discusses the importance of physical fitness assessment in preschool children and highlights the PREFIT battery as a reliable tool for assessing various aspects of physical fitness. The authors point out that previous studies have recommended the use of the PREFIT battery and emphasize the reliability of the PREFIT 20m shuttle run test in particular. They also suggest that field-based tests may be more practical and feasible for this age group. Overall, the authors provide additional information and support for the use of the PREFIT battery in assessing physical fitness in preschool children.
