The article presents U.S. Presidential Commission for the Study of Biomedical Issues' recommendations on privacy of information related to whole genome sequencing. It mentions that organizations should formulate policies defining acceptable access to and permissible uses of whole genome sequence data. It discusses the issues related to data security and privacy of human genome sequencing data. It also discusses the issues related to access and sharing of whole genome sequence information.
