- Title
The environmental impact subterfuge.
- Authors
Conko, Gregory; Miller, Henry I.
- Abstract
The authors comment on the efforts of green activists and organic farmers to convince courts that inconsequential paperwork oversights by regulators at the U.S. Department of Agriculture would revoke two final approvals for recombinant DNA-modified crop varieties and of the issuance of permits to test several others. The author believes on the need for actions to prevent anti-biotech activists from co-opting environmental law to derail the planting of already approved transgenic crops.
