- Abstract
Keywords: Cucurbits; Potyvirus; Diagnose Leaf extracts from eight symptomatic I C. maxima i plants were analyzed by plate-trapped antigen-ELISA, using specific antisera for four cucurbit-infecting viruses: cucumber mosaic virus (CMV, genus I Cucumovirus i ), papaya ringspot virus-type W (PRSV-W, genus I Potyvirus i ), zucchini lethal chlorosis virus (ZLCV, genus I Orthotospovirus i ) and zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV, genus I Potyvirus i ), which are commonly found in cucurbitaceous crops in South America (Romay et al. [2]).
