- Abstract
The article examines that whether investigators have a right to communicate to a research participant about results of research on human genome under the First Amendment's right to free speech. Topics discussed include the significance of direct to consumer (DTC) genetic tests and its prospective medicine, the contribution of Francis Collins, Director of the National Human Genome Research Institute, to the human genome project, and the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996.
