The article offers a perspective from Great Britain on the position of an individual judge, in order to illuminate the dynamics of judging on a final court of appeal. It mentions jurisprudence of Lord Sumption, a justice of Great Britain Supreme Court, in seminal book "Final Judgment." It mentions judicial conservatism with powerful voice on the Court and has developed a distinctive style of judging and expressed reservations about concurring and dissenting opinions.
