Abstract
The article focuses on Jamyang Tenzin, a Lithang monk, who was arrested on October 3, 2007 and sentenced of three years imprisonment for protesting the patriotic education in his monastery. He is from Youru Sakhor Village in Lithang County and had been detained in Nepal for three months when he returned after his studies in South India. Tenzin was one of the monks who refused to blaspheme Dalai Lama.
