- Abstract
The article presents a study on the effect of fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF-23) on renal 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D [1,25(OH)2D]. It discusses details of the experiment on Hyp mouse on the mediation of FGF-23 through the activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling. It explores the significance of the research on the role of MAPK signaling on actions of FGF-23 on renal 1,25 (OH)2D in reversing hypophosphatemia.
