- Abstract
At present, the problem in the thermal protection test of flame retardant protective clothing is an ignorance of the secondary injury caused by thermal accumulation. In order to understand the true proteetion level of flame retardant proteetive elothing, the thermal proteetion performanee of three groups of flame retardant fabrics was tested by two test methods, and the test results were analyzed and compared. And it was proposed that there were some shortcomings in the current thermal protection performance value testing method. It was concluded that when choosing fabrics for flame retardant protective clothing, not only the flame retardant properties and thermal transfer properties of the fabrics should be considered, but also the thermal accumulation properties. In the process of revising the relevant national standards, the thermal performance estimate value test method should also be included in the process to help solve the problem in the practical application.
