- Abstract
The article focuses on responding to critiques regarding the study on the systemic-immune inflammation response index (SIIRI) as a predictor of contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI). It clarifies that while the study did not monitor dynamic changes in SIIRI post-pPCI, its primary aim was to establish SIIRI as an easily calculable marker upon admission to predict CIN.
