- Abstract
An essay is presented on creative and professional ambitions of young authors whose education provided them an opportunity to write poetry and nonfictional prose. Topics discussed include writing of professional sounding dedication by novelists like Jane Austen by portraying desperate heroines in her sentimental novels, emphasis on personal relations and love were given by female authors while boys focused on masculine occupation and consideration of poetry as elite genre by young men.
