A literary criticism of the play "Hosanna" written by Michel Tremblay is presented. The play tells the story of transvestite Hosanna and her lover Cuirette, particularly her identity crisis. In a monologue, the character remembers her bitter and painful experience in a Halloween party. The homosexual love experienced by Hosanna is also discussed.
