- Abstract
The author highlights that injuries are the leading causes of death among youth in Canada. According to the author, injuries caused by motor vehicle crashes account for the most number of deaths among youth. The author also explains the effective strategies and policies to be implemented to decrease the number deaths. The strategies include 3-stage graduated driver's licensing system, limits to night time driving and higher minimum drinking age.
