- Abstract
The article explores the pervasiveness of writing in every life activities for immigrants on aspects of emotional, cognitive and civic conditions. Particular focus is given into the concept of literacy history interview (LHI) on transnational writing studies of colonization, communism and immigrant activities. It also outlines the use of LHI in observing the relationship on the shift of communication technologies with migration.
