Editor's move sparks backlash.

- Abstract
The article discusses the controversy on the appointment of "American Journal of Bioethics" (AJOB) editor-in-chief Glenn McGee as president for ethics at CellTex Therapeutics. Bioethicists argue that McGee has a conflict of interest between his desire to promote application of treatments in stem cell and his responsibilities to the journal. Bioethicists are interrogating whether it is acceptable to work for companies which might use the appointment to show a veneer of ethical probity.
