- Abstract
The Boston Mountains Ecoregion in the United States occurs in portions of two states (Arkansas and Oklahoma). There are 22 species found here, in nine genera and four families (Acanthodrilidae, Lumbricidae, Megascolecidae and Sparganophilidae). Six of the species are native (endemic) to North America; all others are European, Oriental or Pantropical (exotic) introductions. A description of the ecoregion and three colour photographs are also included.
