- Abstract
This article takes up debates from the beginning of the century around processes of individualization in late modernity and links them to a classic object of sociology such as social classes. In the framework of a qualitative research on individual and family trajectories of social class in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area, we analyze here some features of life projects of men and women from different social classes. Life projects connect conditionings of social class and modalities of individualization. In different social classes, we found different degrees of life planning and senses of personal self-realization, reaching their maximum intensity in agents of professional positions.
