- Abstract
Objective To establish a method for the detection of common elements in ten kinds of food samples by super microwave digestion combined with inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry/mass spectrometry (ICP-OES/ICP-MS), and analyze and explore the high-throughput fast and accurate detection method in the laboratory. Methods Using nitric acid-water system for digestion, heavy metal elements were determined by ICP-MS, and nutrient elements were determined by ICP-OES. Results The results of ICP-MS determination showed that the mass concentration of each element had good linear relationships in the range of 0-500 μg/L, the correlation coefficients were 0.9997-1.0000, and the limits of detection were not higher than 1 μg/L. The results of ICP-OES determination showed that the mass concentration of each element had good linear relationships in the range of 0-200 mg/L, the correlation coefficients were 0.9996-1.0000, and the limits of detection were not higher than 5 mg/L. The test results of the standard material were all within the range. The recovery rates were 88.1%-105%, with the relative standard deviations of 0.05%-6.15%. Compared with ordinary microwave digestion method, the time consuming was only 0.25 times. Conclusion The method is accurate and simple, can meet the requirements of national standard, and is suitable for rapid determination of elements in food samples, which provides data reference for scientific and rapid evaluation of common elements in foods.
