A negative HPV test may predict lower cervical cancer risk than a negative Pap.
- Abstract
The article reports on the discovery that primary human papillomavirus (HPV) is more effective compared to primary Pap testing as a reassurance against pre-cancer and cancer, which was revealed by a study by Julia C. Kim of the Harvard School of Public Health on the data used in Gage's study.
