The article focuses on therapeutic properties of aerobic exercise on markers on tumor physiology or vascularity in an orthotropic rat model with prostate cancer. Topics discussed include improvements in intratumoral perfusion or vascularization and hypoxia, inverse relationship between exercise and disease outcomes, and efficacy of systemic and locoregional anticancer therapies.
