- Title
Coffee and Soft Drinks Have Little or No Association With Colon Cancer Risk.
- Abstract
The article discusses research on the association of coffee and soft drinks with the risk of colon cancer. The study analyzed data from 13 studies of 731,441 subjects where colon cancer was seen to have developed on 5,604 patients and those who are drinking 18 ounces of sweetened drinks everyday showed no risk of colon cancer. With similar results among drinkers of coffee and sweetened drinks regardless of sex, alcohol consumption or physical activity level, further study is recommended for those who drink tea.
