- Abstract
Cultural heritage is the physical heritage of artifacts and objects, both national and religious, of a group or society, which have been inherited from past generations and passed along to present generations in order to care for the good of future generations. Cultural heritage includes material culture, such as: buildings, monuments, landscapes, books, works of art and various objects. Spiritual culture includes: folklore, tradition, language and important cultural knowledge, while tourism is developed through them. Tourism is an economic activity that occurs as a result of mass movements of people due to meeting their needs for rest and recreation. Tourism is a special economic activity, because it represents a group of different activities, which meet the needs of consumers. The tourist region of Lipkovo is characterized by a large number of archaeological sites since antiquity. Skeletons from the Dardanian period have also been discovered here. There is a large number of localities that are not yet attractive because of the lack of intensive works and other services.
