- Abstract
Eighteen years after the Second World War, France and Germany signed an agreement on cooperation and friendship ( Elysee treaty on 22 January 1963 ) which marked the period of " ending the mutual hatred " According to Stefani Krapot, a university professor in Besançon, France " mechanisms of antagonism that were groomed ( from ones and the others for the others ) later were cast " She adds that " School textbooks are committed to reconciliation, even the French – German friendship, ..by applying the rules of critical historical approach, as symbol of their release from that traumatism " . Eventually, the author highlights that on the history, geography and other textbooks in France do not talk about mutual hatred but favoring the economic and social integration of the nations and establish a new identity for the Germans and Germany in general. The question arises about the possibility of applying the policy of German- French experiences of the textbooks policy? More said that the culture of the Germans and the French, and ours is a very different level, it cannot be compared the Balkan mentality with the mentality of German and French.
