- Abstract
The article presents a 2022 case study of a 3-year-old boy with leukocytosis, anemia and hepatosplenomegaly who was diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML). The patient's chemotherapy was discontinued, a donor chimerism was acquired which proved that is not needed to achieve long-term disease-free survival, and there were no serious complications. The mechanisms of autologous recovery with hematological remission are as yet unknown.
