- Abstract
This article discusses the history, formation, and publication of the first "Health Libraries Review journal" in 1984, which evolved into the "Health Information & Libraries Journal" in 2000. The journal exists as a collaborative effort between Blackwell Scientific Publications and the Health Libraries Group. The article discusses changes that journal has gone through since Richard Miles and Shane Godbolt, the journal's founders, first developed the idea. Further discussed is the journal's embrace of technology and the publication of articles on the Internet.
