- Abstract
Jumla is a unique place where cereals are cultivated at the highest altitude of the world. Rainfall is one of the major factor in Jumla for the decrease in the yield of paddy and maize whereas, temperature has resulted low yield of barley, wheat and millet. The rainfall and temperature trends are decreasing and increasing respectively. The rainfall, temperature and yield data are analyzed with linear regression to identify the impact of rainfall and temperature on the yield of major cereals in Jumla district of Nepal.
