- Abstract
An essay is presented on ethnographic study of becoming an All Saints Choirboy. It offers a history of the choir in All Saints Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia and examines the choir experiences, ritual transformation, and theory of habitus presented by the French philosopher Pierre Bourdieu. The author also relates her interview with choirmaster Andy Koebler related to the musical and social processes of transforming boys into choirboys on February 16, 2008.
