- Abstract
The article discusses a study published in "The Lancet Oncology" in 2013 which indicates that bevacizumab use leads to a small but clinically significant decrease in quality of life (QoL) compared to chemotherapy alone in patients with ovarian cancer. The study used data from the International Collaboration on Ovarian Neoplasms 7 (ICON7) study to evaluate the difference in QoL in women who received standard chemotherapy and women who also received bevacizumab as upfront therapy after surgery.
