- Abstract
The article reports on the statement of Sawarmi Khaled Saad, army spokesman in Sudan, regarding the death of a Sudanese soldier after a border clash with forces of South Sudan in the Heglig area. The clash happened amid efforts by diplomats from Africa to determine the center of a buffer zone, which has been agreed by both countries to establish on their border. It adds that both countries have been urged by the United Nations Security Council to implement security and economic agreements.
