An essay is presented on the effects of Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) in the globalized pharmaceutical industry. It mentions that globalization has brought many changes among countries including the globalization of the rules that are applied to the pharmaceutical industry. The advantages and disadvantages of the pharmaceutical industry being in the global state are also presented which include patent protection and pharmaceutical research.
